Esther is a Trainee Legal Consultant at Spark Legal and Policy Consulting and joined the company in 2024.
Esther graduated in Law from the University of Graz in Austria and holds a postgraduate degree in International and European Law from the VUB in Brussels. During her studies, she spent an Erasmus semester at the University of Ferrara in Italy.
Prior to joining Spark, Esther worked as an intern at the Permanent Representation of Austria to the EU in Brussels and afterwards as a trainee lawyer in a law firm in Vienna specialising in Environmental and Energy Law. She successfully passed the Austrian bar exam.
Before starting the traineeship, she already collaborated as national legal expert with Spark on various studies for DG ENER.
Esther is a native German speaker, fluent in English and Italian and has a good understanding of French.
