Ieva Malickaitė is a Junior Legal Consultant at Spark Legal and Policy Consulting, having joined the company in 2023. She works in the area of Internal Market, Financial Affairs and Competition.
Ieva has participated in studies for DG GROW, DG COMP, DG MOVE, and DG ENER, where she supported legal and policy analysis, desk research, data collection and analysis, report preparation, and managed networks of national legal experts. She is currently managing the study for DG EMPL, ‘Mapping And Assessment of Developments for One of Sectoral Professions Under Directive 2005/36/EC’ as well as DG MOVE ‘Support study for a Fitness Check on the functioning of airports’.
Ieva earned her Bachelor's degree in Social Policy from the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom in 2021. In 2024, she graduated from the University of Bologna, Italy, with an LLM in Legal Studies, specialising in human rights and focusing her thesis on digital evidence in criminal procedure law.
Ieva’s mother tongue is Lithuanian, she speaks English and German fluently, and has a basic understanding of French, Spanish and Italian.
