Benedetta is involved in the Study on the ‘Evaluation of the implementation and impact of Regulation (EU) 2017/1939 of 12 October 2017 on the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO), and of the effectiveness and efficiency of the EPPO and its working practices’.
Previously, she worked on the “Study on the application of the rules on state liability for breaches of Union law and on the application of the preliminary ruling mechanism under Article 267 TFEU in the Member States of the European Union” for DG JUST and the “Study supporting the evaluation of Regulation (EU) 2021/784 addressing the dissemination of terrorist content online” for DG HOME. In other areas, she contributed to studies for DG GROW, DG EMPL and the private sector.
Before joining Spark, Benedetta worked at the Erik Castren Institute of International Law and Human Rights in Helsinki, in the European Projects and Strategic Planning Office of the Municipality of Rimini, and in the State Aid and Procurement Division of the Legal Department of the City of Helsinki.
Benedetta graduated in Comparative, European and International Legal Studies from the University of Trento in 2022. She then obtained a Master’s degree in Global Governance Law from the University of Helsinki in 2024.
Her mother tongue is Italian, she speaks English fluently and has a good understanding of Spanish.
