We are happy to announce that we will be taking on a new Study launched and managed by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA), called “Overview of research on supporting the retention at work and the successful return-to-work following sickness absence of health and social care workers with a musculoskeletal health condition/chronic MSDs”.
The Study entails collecting and reviewing existing information and good practice in the field. Itsobjective is to increase knowledge and improve access to information related to supporting HeSCare (human health and social care activities) workers with a work-related musculoskeletal health condition to successfully return to work following sickness absence.
Spark, in a consortium with Pantheia and KU Leuven, will first identify, select and compile practical information and examples on supporting the retention of workers with a musculoskeletal health issue and their return to work after an absence. This research will help us to develop case studies that will illustrate initiatives encouraging or supporting their return to work.
We are excited to work alongside our partners and EU OSHA in this new Study, in order to provide outcomes that foster constructive advancements in the sector.
