Folkert Henstra is a Trainee Legal Consultant at Spark Legal and Policy Consulting, having joined the team in 2025.
Folkert studied international and European law at the University of Groningen for his bachelor’s degree, graduating in 2022. Following this, he followed a master’s degree in international commercial law at the same university, graduating in 2024.
He has gathered professional experience as a paralegal at a debt collection firm before starting his traineeship at Spark Legal and Policy Solutions.
Folkert speaks fluent Frisian, Dutch, and English, and has a basic understanding of German and French.
