Marta Semenzato is a Trainee Legal Consultant at Spark Legal and Policy Consulting, having joined the team in 2026.
Marta graduated with a double degree in Italian and French Law from the Università degli Studi di Firenze and Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in 2024. Her thesis focused on the repression of environmental crime in Italy and France through a comparative analysis in light of Directive (EU) 2024/1203. She holds a Master's degree in International Law, from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Master's degree in Public and International Law, from the Université libre de Bruxelles.
During her studies, Marta completed an internship at the Italian Ministry of the Interior, at the French Senate’s Division for Comparative Legislation, and lastly at the General Court of the Court of Justice of the European Union. Most recently, she worked as a Legal Assistant at the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).
Marta is a native Italian speaker, fluent in French and English, and has a good knowledge of German.
