About Spark
Spark Legal and Policy Consulting is looking to recruit proactive, curious and highly motivated trainees to join our Brussels office full-time in September 2026 (see details below).
This is a 6-month traineeship, offering you a chance to gain hands-on experience in legal and policy fields while working in an international and dynamic environment.
You will support one of the following areas:
- Private Sector (Spark Solutions)
- Communication Networks and Technology
What you will do
As a trainee, you will:
- Support the preparation and acquisition of new projects and studies through tendering
- Assist with project management and coordination of cross-border research teams
- Conduct legal and policy research, analysis, and reporting on findings
- Liaise and communicate with high-profile experts and clients

Specify which of the above-mentioned area(s) you would be interested in joining, and demonstrate how you meet the following essential criteria:
- A master’s degree in law (a stage/internship or other work experience at the EU institutions would be a plus)
- An interest in and understanding of EU law and policy
- Excellent research and analysis skills
- A strong work ethic, an enthusiastic, flexible attitude, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English (other EU languages are an asset)
