Célia Drevon is a Principal Consultant and Director of Quality, Knowledge and Skills at Spark Legal and Policy Consulting, where she has been working since 2019. Célia is also the lead of Spark’s Employment, Education and Health policy area.
Célia has managed or supervised multiple projects, such as a Study supporting the identification of professions for the extension of automatic recognition through common training frameworks under the Professional Qualifications Directive 2005/36/EC for the European Commission (DG EMPL), a Study on the compliance assessment of the national measures transposing the Adequate Minimum Wages Directive (EU) 2022/20241 (DG EMPL), or an in-depth legal mapping of the subcontracting rules applicable the construction sector (for FIEC/EFBWW). Currently, Célia is also working on several projects supporting the Quality Jobs Act initiative and the Skills Portability Initiative for the European Commission (DG EMPL), as well as a Study on new forms of work and social security coordination in a cross-border context for the European Labour Authority (ELA).
Prior to receiving a Master’s degree in European and International Law from the University of Lyon III, Célia completed a double Bachelor’s degree in International Law and Policy and Languages at the University of Grenoble Alpes.
Before joining Spark, Célia completed an internship with the legal department of the European Maritime Safety Agency. She also worked for the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law UNIDROIT where she conducted comparative research in European criminal and procedural law.
Her mother tongue is French and she speaks English and Italian.
