Trainee Legal Consultant: Communications, Network & Technology

Spark Legal and Policy Consulting is looking to recruit a proactive, curious and highly motivated trainee to join our Brussels office full-time, as of August 2026.
This is a 6-month traineeship, offering you a chance to gain hands-on experience in legal and policy fields while working in an international and dynamic environment.

The role
As a trainee, you will:
- Support the preparation and acquisition of new projects and studies through tendering
- Assist with project management and coordination of cross-border research teams
- Conduct legal and policy research, analysis, and reporting on findings
- Liaise and communicate with high-profile experts and clients

- A Master’s degree in law (previous traineeship, internship, or professional experience within the EU institutions is an asset)
- A strong interest in, and understanding of, EU law and policy
- Excellent research, analytical, and drafting skills
- A strong work ethic, an enthusiastic, flexible attitude, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English (other EU languages are an asset)
