Aristeidis Kouroukerezis is a Junior Legal Consultant who joined the Spark Legal and Policy Consulting in 2025.
Aristeidis obtained a bachelor's degree in law from Democritus University of Thrace in 2021 and completed his LLM in Public International and European Law from KU Leuven in 2023. His thesis focused on the responsibility of Frontex for human rights violations on the territory of non-EU countries.
Before joining Spark, Aristeidis completed a Blue Book traineeship at DG HOME, focusing on migration management and counter-smuggling. Before that, he worked as an asylum lawyer with the NGO European Lawyers in Lesvos, supporting asylum seekers and refugees in multiple camps across Greece. He is a fully qualified attorney with the Thessaloniki Bar Association.
He has also taken on the role of New Technology Officer and is responsible for researching, testing, and implementing AI solutions and digital tools to improve efficiency across Spark's client work and internal operations, while supporting their responsible adoption through training, guidance, and best practices.
Aristeidis is a native Greek speaker, fluent in English, and has a basic knowledge of French.
