Eva op den Kamp joined Spark Legal and Policy Consulting in 2025 as a Trainee Legal Consultant in the area of Communication Networks and Technology.
Eva obtained a bachelor’s degree in law in 2021 and completed her LLM in International Law and Global Governance in 2023, both at Tilburg University. She wrote her theses on child labour in the cocoa industry in Ghana and Ivory Coast, and on the ILO Convention No. 190, focussing on the working conditions in the garment industry in Bangladesh. During her studies, Eva had an exchange semester in Finland and worked as a legal volunteer for a refugee aid NGO in the Netherlands, VluchtelingenWerk, where she mainly assisted clients in their family reunification procedures.
Before joining Spark, Eva was a Blue Book trainee at the European Commission, where she worked in the Fundamental Rights Policy unit of the Directorate-General Justice and Consumers (DG JUST). She also previously worked at a national court in the Netherlands in the immigration law team, researching the legality of people in immigration detention in the Netherlands.
Her mother tongue is Dutch and she speaks English fluently, with basic knowledge of German and French.
