Fernando Mazziotta

Fernando Mazziotta is a Trainee Legal Consultant at Spark Legal and Policy Consulting, having joined the team in June 2025.

Before joining Spark, he worked at the National Assembly of Venezuela, as well as at the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, where he contributed to the preparations for the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union. He also served at the Council of the European Union in the Presidency Preparation and Horizontal Policies Unit, supporting the planning of the upcoming trio of presidencies (Poland, Denmark, and Cyprus) and regularly attended the Working Party on Maritime Issues.

He graduated from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in law, he then obtained a Master’s degree in Global Governance Law from the University of Helsinki in 2025. Fernando is a native Spanish speaker, fluent in English, and has a good command of Italian
