Giovanni Meledandri

Giovanni Meledandri is a Trainee Legal Consultant who joined Spark Legal and Policy Consulting in 2025.

Giovanni obtained a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Trento in 2022 and completed his LLM in Public International Law at the Université libre de Bruxelles in 2023.

Before joining Spark, he completed a ten-month traineeship at the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights, based in Vienna, working in the migration and asylum sector. Prior to that, he worked as a research and project assistant with the Odysseus Network, a Brussels-based network of academics specialising in migration and asylum law. He also works and has published independently as a policy researcher with the Italian think tank CeSPI, focusing on policies related to unaccompanied children applying for asylum in the EU and in Italy.

Giovanni is a native Italian speaker, fluent in English and French, with a good understanding of Spanish and a basic knowledge of Portuguese.
