Léonie Ngom is a Trainee Legal Consultant at Spark Legal and Policy Consulting, having joined the Team in 2025.

She graduated with an L.L.M in International Human Rights Law from the University of Essex and a master’s degree in European Human Rights Law from the University Jean Moulin Lyon 3.

Before joining Spark, Léonie was a trainee for the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe where she worked in the Committee on Migration, Refugees and Displaced Persons. She also previously worked as a research assistant at the Human Rights Centre Clinic of the University of Essex, providing legal assistance to NGOs on projects focusing on humanitarian assistance in Europe and on the criminalisation of asylum seekers in the UK.

Léonie is a native French speaker, she is fluent in English and has a good understanding of German.
