Manuela Hernández Guarin

Manuela Hernández joined Spark Legal and Policy Consulting in November 2025 as a Trainee Legal Consultant.

She is an EU competition lawyer and holds dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Law and International Relations from the University of Deusto (Bilbao). She also completed an LL.M in European Private Law with a specialisation in EU Competition Law at the University of Amsterdam (UvA), as well as a Master’s Degree to Access the Legal Profession.

Before joining Spark, Manuela gained experience as a Trainee Lawyer in Madrid at a law firm specialised in competition law, where she worked on private enforcement cases across sectors such as technology and pharmaceuticals. She also completed a European Commission Blue Book Traineeship at the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW), contributing to the Single Market Strategy 2025–2029.

Manuela is a native Spanish speaker, fluent in English, and has a basic knowledge of French.
