Théo Thaels is a Junior Legal Consultant who joined Spark Legal and Policy Consulting in 2025 and is now part of the Employment, Education and Health team. Within that area, he takes active part in the very interesting HADEA Study on the provisions of AYA (adolescent and young adult) in the European Union as well as the Complementary Study on the Workplace Directive and the Display Screen Equipment Directive.
Regarding his background, Theo obtained a Bachelor in European Law at the University of Maastricht in 2022 and completed his Master in Globalization and Law, with a specialization in Human Rights, in 2023 from the University of Maastricht as well.
Before joining Spark, he worked for NANSEN Refugee, an NGO based in Brussels, which offers legal expertise on international protection.
Théo is a native French speaker and is fluent in English.
